[Osip] OSIP and threads support

Hello,
I'm trying to use osip  (3.3.0) and exosip2 (3.1.0) on a blackfin target. I 
have read an old message concerning the usage of the option --enable-pthread 
when building libosip2 and some possible error when not used. When I build 
the librairie OSIP I don't see any difference  with ou without this option. 
Reading the makefile that has been configured, I see THREAD_CFLAGS 
= -pthread (without the option) and SIP__FLAGS = -DOSIP_MT -DHAVE_PTHREAD 
(with the option).
So with the last release , is there some change concerning thread support, 
and I don't exactly understand what means thread support for the osip 
library. My application will use threads.
